COURSES

Our courses are tailored-made, based on your level and needs. They are organized according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and therefore we propose a broad range of possibilities from courses for beginners to those for advanced students.

THE CEFR LEVELS: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2

The courses can also be organized to obtain specific certificates, such as:

CELI – Certificazione Italiano Generale

CILS – Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera

PLIDA – Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri

On the Venice Italian Courses you can choose to attend:

  • an individual course. It is a tailor-made course that can start any time of the year. The time and number of hours will follow your specific needs and this is the best choice for those with timetabling constraints or particular preferences. The individual course allows a personal educational path, planned based on from the student’s previous Italian learning experiences and existing skills.
  • a group course. Our groups have a maximum of 5 participants and take place from Monday to Friday morning, from 9.00 am to 12.00. We organize only small group courses so as to ensure effective training to accommodate all the different ways of learning characterized by the students attending the course.

THE METHODOLOGY

Our teachers have obtained a post-graduate specialization in teaching Italian to foreigners and have many years of experience. The approach is communicative with the final goal of actively involving all students to discover the language through communication, both oral and written. The course is designed considering the students’ different levels of knowledge of Italian and, if it is an individual course, also the specific needs of the student. Whatever the course, the main communication skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing are developed through realistic examples and effective teaching techniques in order to achieve a spontaneous but long-lasting assimilation of the language.
